ST JAMES SPANISH PLACE St James' Church is a large English gothic Roman Catholic church in George Street, Marylebone, London. Although currently situated in George Street, the church maintains its connection with Spanish Place, the road opposite the current church, because of its historic connection with the Spanish Embassy. It is grade II* listed with Historic England. We were asked to look into reconfiguring the Lower Basement area, covering entirety the Church footprint, into a multifunctional space able to reconfigure itself to serve as a conference hall, meeting rooms, and social gathering space for the many extracurricular activities of the Church.
