Starka, Motherwell

Starka in Motherwell south east of Glasgow is a former corner pub on Brandon street. We were asked to give a light touch to the internal space to transform this space in a welcoming lounge bar selling predominately vodka. The idea was to introduce those alternated vertical timber fins to attenuate the sound internally.

All loose furniture are mounted on castor wheels so that the space can bee freed to leave space to the dance floor.
